Castle Krottenhof was originally built as a medieval fortress in the 13th century. Over its centuries of existence, the castle has witnessed an eventful history, and underwent extensive renovation from 1992 to 1994. The total estate constitutes some 15,000 m2.

The castle spans two storeys with a useable floor space of approximately 1000 m2, including a wellness area with steam room and massage bath. Wooden floors and natural stone tiles convey a welcoming, homely atmosphere. The property is also equipped with an oil central heating system.
